Meet and Eat: Negotiation

 

This discussion will provide an opportunity for women in STEM and allies to discuss topics related to negotiation in relation interviews, job offers, pay scale, and much more.  Below, you can find a list of articles, podcasts, and videos that relate to this topic. Event Update: We are honored to welcome Dr. Jean McLain, Dr. Katy Prudic, and Jhen Lumbres to this event to share their personal experiences with negotiation.

Dr. McLain is the Assistant Dean for Faculty Advancement in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and Research Scientist in Environmental Science and the Water Resources Research Center. Dr. Prudic is an Assistant Professor in the School of Natural Resources and the Environment. She is also the co-director of eButterfly, an online citizen science platform. Jhen is a graduate student in Optics who has recently gained experience with salary negotiation related to a summer internship.
